Michael Stock, Chair Golf Committee
What do you do as Chair of the Golf
Committee?
The golf committee's main priority includes marketing and managing
the annual BMA Golf Outing. The event provides members and their
guests an opportunity to network with other marketing
professionals, share best practices, and increase the overall value
of BMA's membership. The event consists of approximately 150+
participants and is enjoyable for BMA members and their guests
regardless of player skill level.
How long have you been a member of BMA?
A professional colleague encouraged me to enjoy the benefits of
membership; as a result, I have been an active participant since
June 2011. As a small business owner I recognize the importance of
exchanging ideas with like-minded professionals.
Tell us about your background in
marketing.
Originally from Greendale, WI, I earned a Marketing B.A. from
Arizona State University in 1996. While residing in Phoenix I held
various sales and client management positions in both paper sales
and insurance industries. After moving back to Wisconsin I
established Unicus Promotions, LLC, a local promotional products
business. For the past 10+ years, I have helped clients increase
their company's brand awareness with marketing and promotional
ideas.
What is the most valuable part of your BMA
membership?
As I become more familiar BMA, I anticipate the most valuable
aspect of membership will include building relationships and a
knowledge base with local partners.
What do you do when you're not busy being a BMA Board
Member?
I like to spend my spare time outside with my wife, Carolyn, and
our two dogs. Additionally, my lifelong passion is golf and
whenever possible, I enjoy playing with family and friends.
