Tim Grove, Web Chair
What do you do as Web Chair of the
Milwaukee Chapter?
I am responsible for the BMA Milwaukee website, which includes
maintaining and adding content for our events (speakers,
presentations, photos & videos), adding additional news
content, and any other content/media that needs to be pushed
through the website. I also assist the Communications Committee
with other forms of online communications, such as the Blast and
BMA Milwaukee social media channels.
How long have you been a member of BMA?
I have been a BMA member since early 2008, and this is my fourth
year serving on the Board as the Web Chair.
Tell us about your background in
marketing.
My background is more on the development/digital side of
marketing. I have been a web developer, working for digital
marketing agencies for over 7 years now, and have been responsible
for website and application programming, technical requirements and
how to solve business needs with technology.
What is the most valuable part of your BMA
membership?
My membership to BMA has grown both my professional and personal
skills, and I have developed great relationships through-out the
organization. Milwaukee and south-eastern Wisconsin has a great
marketing community, and I've have learned a lot from being a part
of it.
What do you do when you're not busy being Web
Chair?
If I am not working on one of my many side projects, one of them
being a startup in the event/tradeshow mobile app industry,
BoothTag, you will find me on a lake fishing. My favorite place to
be, is in the Wisconsin Northwoods, with my family.
