Epic Content Marketing Resolutions

The fourth annual  B2B Content Marketing: 2014 Benchmarks, Budgets, and Trends-North America report from Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs states that B2B content marketing now accounts for 30 percent of today's marketing budget.

According to the same study, however, 84 percent of B2B marketers said they do not have a documented content marketing strategy to:

  • Address customer's unmet needs or provide useful solutions to lingering questions
  • Remain consistent in quality and publication delivery
  • Tell their company's story in a unique and human voice
  • Express a point of view that positions their company as an expert
  • Remove the "sales speak" and create content that is tailor made for their customers
